
A 'Hangar Swoop' being undertaken in the mid nineties. This is
a common occurrence at the Museum (it is rumoured it is done in the hope
of keeping the Hangar Guides from falling asleep). In the photo can be seen Andy
Lambert (then MD of National Rescue) and Tony Amos who
had probably bunked off work. More importantly you can also see the Museum's TSR2
and Valiant Cockpits (good job no one had a Geiger
Counter
on them in those days, or the H&S officer would have had a heart attack) The port
propeller of the Vickers Viking can also be seen.
